Based on the principles of mechanics, consistency, and intensity, Powerhouse Kids emphasizes proper movement throughout childhood and adolescence. Consistently good mechanics translate to physical literacy, enhanced sports performance, and fewer sports injuries for kids.
Research also shows that exercise benefits cognitive function, meaning consistent adherence to our program can positively impact children's academic achievement.
Each class includes a warm-up, skill work, the Workout of the Day (WOD), game play, and positive reinforcement. Your child's confidence, both physically and mentally, will grow with each class.
AGES 7-12
Skills learned are more detailed and may involve light weights. Exercises include gymnastics, weightlifting basics, running, rowing, and stretching. Classes consist of a warm-up, skill work, a WOD, game play, and positive reinforcement.
